Professor Tanya Byron speaks at AGM
Relate Patron and well known clinical psychologist, writer and broadcaster Dr Tanya Bryon was the guest speaker at the Relate Richmond Kingston & Hounslow AGM on 15th November.
Dr Byron drew on her 23 years of clinical experience to present to Relate counsellors and invited guests on the subject “Enabling young people to recover well from painful life events like divorce, separation and attachment ruptures” In addition to encouraging coping strategies and ways to manage difficult behaviour Dr Byron delivered a positive message about young people today who research has shown have more tolerance and compassion than previous generations
