News - Relate Seeks New Trustees

RELATE Richmond Kingston and Hounslow is currently looking for volunteers to join its Board of Trustees. The organisation is part of the UK's leading counselling charity providing high quality services to couples, young people and families in all three Boroughs. To undertake these important roles, volunteers should be able to think strategically, have existing or potential leadership skills and a background in one or more of the following:
• Business management.
• Law – knowledge of Charity and Company legislation would be an advantage.
• Marketing, fund raising and event management..

Volunteers should also have a commitment to the value of relationship support and counselling and those with knowledge and understanding of the BME and / or Gay and Lesbian community will be especially welcome to apply. Understanding of local health and social services and of the impact of recent policy developments will be helpful.

This is an opportunity for suitable volunteers to obtain Board level experience during a crucial period in the charity’s development.
